Luke 12:11-23
And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what
thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
12:13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
12:14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
12:16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
12:18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build
greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many
years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy (do they require thy soul) soul
shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself,
and is not rich toward God.
12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall
eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

1 Thessalonians 3:7-12
3:7 Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
3:9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
3:10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
3:11 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct (or, guide) our way unto you.
3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
